Instead of a traditional FTP site, Wentworth uses ShareFile. Sharefile is a sophisticated, secure file transfer system that is very easy to use and notifies your Customer Service and Sales Rep so that you get quicker response. ShareFile works like an FTP, but has features found in “You Send-It” or “Drop Box”. There is a short 2-minute video that explains ShareFile very well at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeBOPR0wHpM.
Contact your Salesman or Customer Service Rep and we will create a unique login for you and your company. You will receive a welcome email with information on how to login and reset your password to something you can remember.
After that you can access your files two ways:
- By Website at https://wentworthprinting.sharefile.com/
- By FTP Client using the following credentials:
HOST = wentworthprinting.sharefileftp.com
USERNAME = wentworthprinting/<your email>
PASSWORD = (your ShareFile password)
If you have sensitive data, we can provide a secure FTP.
Wentworth is always here to assist you in the construction of your printed piece. Perhaps you need help determining the sizes of panels on your brochure or the spine size for your perfect bound book? Contact your Customer Service Rep for any questions or concerns.

When exporting a PDF from InDesign or Quark, we recommend using our “Adobe PDF Preset” for the following reasons:
- It oversizes the PDF by 0.25” width and height to capture 1/8” bleeds.
- It includes no crop marks, which interfere with bleeds.
- It downsamples images to produce a high resolution PDF but does not make the file size extremely large.
- Color Management is turned off so it does not alter your color.
Use the following link to download this PDF Preset (or Distiller Option):

You can load this as a Distiller option if you use Adobe Distiller.
Most people export PDFs directly from InDesign or Quark. To load this in InDesign, go to “File” -> “Adobe PDF Presets” -> “Define” -> “Load” and navigate to this file. When it is time to “EXPORT” your PDF, simply select our Wentworth PDF Preset.
