MetalFX Certified

The MetalFX metallic system requires only one extra ink. The MetalFX base silver (or gold!) ink is printed as the first color, and then overprinted with traditional CMYK values. The transparency of the CMYK allows the high luster MetalFX base ink to shine through, creating a whole new spectrum of vibrant metallics.

Each step of the process is assigned a deadline which, along with established quality standards, becomes our measure of progress. Each morning, your project is reviewed to ensure that progress continues as planned.

Your project begins!

Before your project goes to pre-press, it goes through pre-flight. During this process, every detail is carefully examined for missing or confusing information. We examine every file thoroughly to ensure we have all information needed.

Our prepress department is kept up-to-date with the latest softwares (Quark, InDesign, etc). Using state-of-the-art RampageRIP and Macintosh workstations, our prepress specialists prepare your project for production. We are able to a multitude of improvements can be made, including color correction and photo manipulation.

We have a variety of proofing systems to fit your individual needs: two sided HP1050 Spinjet Proofer, two sided HP5500 Double-proofer, an Epson 9800 color proofer, and a Kodak Approval proofer. We also have the Rampage Remote Proofing system which allows you to proof on the fly!
